Ros Ford VPRWA, RE is a painter and printmaker based in Bristol.
Inspired by the unordered, the overlooked and the sideshows of life, her work is mostly about functional structures and buildings that are often unnoticed.
Her etchings are often based on hidden industrial landscapes close to her home and studio as well as Wales and Italy. She makes drawings and photographs on location that she develops into series of prints and paintings. Her recent work is inspired by a fellowship in Venice. She works at BV Studios, Bristol and has won national prizes and awards for her work.
Her prints and paintings are exhibited, collected and held in public and private collections in the UK and internationally. She undertakes commissions and residencies, teaches drawing and printmaking and has founded and co-ordinated art events
